FAQ
Do you provide CAD or BIM files for architectural planning?
Absolutely. We provide downloadable 2D and 3D CAD files for our standard architectural elements. For custom projects, our engineering team can produce detailed shop drawings and models for your submittals.
How do your foam products perform in harsh weather conditions (UV, rain, freeze-thaw)?
They are engineered to excel. Our polyurea hard coat creates a seamless, waterproof barrier that is completely impervious to moisture, preventing cracking in freeze-thaw cycles. It’s also formulated with UV inhibitors to ensure long-term color stability.
Are your materials fire-rated?
Yes. We offer products that meet Class A fire rating standards when specified. You can find the relevant certification documents on this page to include in your project plans and ensure code compliance.
What is the realistic lifespan of an exterior polyurea-coated foam element?
With proper installation, you can expect a lifespan of 20 years or more. The high-performance coating is designed to resist impact, moisture, and UV degradation, making it a durable, long-term investment.
What information is needed to specify the correct mounting hardware?
To ensure a secure installation, our technical guides will ask for the mounting surface (e.g., brick, drywall, metal), the element’s size and weight, and the environmental conditions (e.g., high-wind zone).
Can your foam products be modified or cut on the job site?
Yes. Both EPS and HDU foam can be easily cut, sanded, or drilled on-site using standard woodworking tools. This allows for minor adjustments during installation for a perfect fit.
What maintenance do your products require?
Minimal. Unlike wood or metal, our coated foam products will not rot, rust, or be damaged by insects. We simply recommend a gentle cleaning as needed to remove environmental dust or dirt. No annual sealing or repainting is required.
Are your 3D props and letters completely waterproof for outdoor use?
Yes, 100%. The polyurea coating fully encapsulates the foam core, making every piece completely waterproof and ready for outdoor events, festivals, or permanent installations, rain or shine.
How durable are the products for repeated transport and reuse at multiple events?
They are built for the road. The combination of a lightweight foam core and a rock-hard polyurea shell makes them highly resistant to the dings, bumps, and scrapes associated with event logistics, ensuring a high ROI for marketing tours.
How much does a large foam element weigh compared to wood or concrete?
Significantly less. Our EPS foam products are up to 90% lighter than traditional materials like concrete, stone, or solid wood, drastically reducing shipping costs and eliminating the need for heavy lifting equipment during installation.
Can the color be matched to a specific brand standard (e.g., Pantone or Sherwin-Williams)?
Precisely. We can match any color from Pantone, Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, or a physical sample you provide. Our technical team ensures your brand identity is replicated with perfect accuracy.
Where can I find weight, density, and other physical property specifications?
You can find all of this information in the Technical Data Sheets (TDS) available for download on this page. Each sheet provides detailed data on density, tensile strength, moisture absorption, and thermal resistance to help you specify with confidence.
